Hello Parents and Kids!
Our PreK-1st grade classes continue all summer in person at our church building. Our 2nd-5th grade classes end July 25 and we encourage kids just finishing grade 2-8 to attend worship service with their families during the month of August.  All classes resume in the building on September 5. Below are some quick ways to stay connected with Jesus this summer!

Let’s Start With Worship!!!

It’s so good to worship the Lord together. Here are songs we have used at FCC to draw our hearts to Jesus and praise Him for His love for us – every day!

And remember to check out these two videos too, here and here.

Learn

As you come to learn about God today, get out your Bibles and read together. Then watch these Kid videos below. Bible video 1 is most appropriate for 4 year olds through 1st grade. Bible video 2 is geared for 2nd-5th graders.

Discuss

Ask these questions after you watch:
1) Retell the story in your own words.
2) What did I learn about God in this story? (Notice what Jesus did or said.)
3) What was the key point I should remember this week? (How can I use Jesus’ teaching in my own life?)

Memory verse:
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” – John 11: 25

What is eternal life? Our bodies will die a physical death. But the Bible teaches that our spirits will live on. If we believe that Jesus died and took the penalty for our sins, He will give our spirits a new life which will live on after death – with God. (See Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, and Romans 10:9). The Bible also talks about believers receiving new bodies in heaven. Those resurrected bodies will be different from the ones we have now.

Each Tuesday we read a Bible story to Preschoolers on Instagram. Follow us on Instagram at fcc_kidmin.
