Proposed Bylaws & Upcoming Q&A Sessions

Since early February, a small committee of our pastors and deacons has been meeting every Friday morning regarding changes to our Bylaws which describe the governance of Fellowship Community Church. The Bylaws contain information about the Church Board, Pastors, Deacons, Members, and other guidelines for how the church operates. Out of this season of seeking the Lord together, we have prepared a proposed set of updated Bylaws to help shepherd our church well into the future.

To give every member space to ask questions, share comments, and gain clarity on this transition, we are hosting two Q&A Sessions:

  • Mount Laurel Campus: Wednesday, September 2, at 6:30 PM
  • Collingswood Campus: Thursday, September 10, at 6:30 PM

A Few Details Regarding Our Time Together:

  • Location: Members are invited to attend whichever evening best fits your schedule, regardless of which campus you normally attend on Sundays. You are also welcome to attend both if you'd like.
  • No Registration Needed: There is no need to sign up in advance—simply join us at 6:30 PM.
  • Focus of the Evenings: To honor everyone’s time and ensure all member questions are addressed, our conversation and Q&A will be focused specifically on the proposed Bylaws. (Related policy will also be available on-site for anyone interested in reviewing them, but our group discussion will center on the Bylaws).
  • Approval: The proposed changes to the Bylaws will be brought before all of the members at the annual meeting in September for approval.
