ALL HANDS ON DECK!
That’s what we need --- not to row the ship or steer the sails but we need those hands folded in prayer!
Building plans have been updated according to the Government Building Supervisor’s request and now we simply await the final decision.  It requires one signature and that could happen any day!  Please join us in bringing this request before the throne of Grace!

Other Prayer requests:
  1. Leaders Bible Conference --- September 22-24
  2. Mini-golf Evangelistic Clubs all through October
  3. English in Schools --- we desire to get into several schools
  4. National Quiz Weekend --- December 8-9
  5. Completion of 2nd floor --- should be totally ready by Dec. 31
  6. Groundbreaking for a pool --- funds still needed

Together we will minister to WOL missionary families as well as in local conferences, speaking over 30 times and meeting individually with staff couples. God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think!!!
Look at all He’s done recently……..
 Sports/English Camp:
2 months ago we had no place to go …..BUT GOD WORKED…..
…………..……………….65 in attendance
…………..……………….14 professions of faith in Christ
…………..……………….37 specific commitments to grow in Christ!
…………..……………….No problems with the property or other groups!

Fire Inspection June 20:
Not approved and looked like it would be 7 more weeks …..BUT GOD WORKED…..
--3 days ago (July 10) WE RECEIVED OUR APPROVAL!!!
Now we have our Fire Approval and Health Approval and there’s ONLY ONE MORE STEP: The Final Occupancy Permit........but listen to this……..
 Building Director:
He’s been impossible to work with for 4 years …..BUT GOD WORKED…
………………….. Last Friday, he submitted papers to the Government Building Supervisor
………………….. Saturday, he came with 2 of his children to a baseball picnic and he loved it.
………………….. Wednesday, without prompting, he went to the Government office to check how it was going and what we need to do!
He has now totally changed over to be a friend on our side now!
I AM IN SHOCK!  I KNOW THAT THIS CAN ONLY BE THE RESULT OF FERVENT PRAYER!

Please keep praying for the youth of Poland

URGENT CALL FOR PRAYER - KAREN

As you know my sister, Debbie, was diagnosed with kidney cancer about 2 years ago.  After having her kidney removed my sister had clear scans which we were grateful for.   After six months, she was scanned again.  They discovered that the cancer has metastasized to her other kidney and to her lungs.  There isn't really treatment for kidney cancer so this was devastating news.  We are very close to my sister...she is like a second mother to my kids.  The doctors initially said there was nothing they could do.  There is a treatment that not many patients qualify for and it is VERY hard on the body.  Since her prognosis is so poor, she decided to see if she could qualify for this treatment.  After many tests, my sister just found out she qualified for the trial.  The treatment is called Interleukin 2.  There are only a few hospitals that administer  this for this treatment.  The patient has to be admitted to the ICU because  the side effects are very severe.
My sister is flying down to Los Angeles and will have a port inserted tomorrow (Thursday, July 20). She will begin infusions tomorrow night.  Hopefully she will be able to withstand the side effects and will have infusions every 8 hours until Monday.  She will then return home until August 2nd and then try a second round.  She will need to do a total of four rounds of treatments.  This is a frightening treatment, but she is very motivated to try it.

Please pray:
1) That Debbie and our family would continue to trust God with her life.  He is in complete control.
2) Pray that God would supernaturally carry Debbie through these treatments and that she could tolerate the side effects.
3) Pray that God would heal her and she would live to glorify Him.
4) Pray that she will experience God's care and presence  in the midst of this trial.  Pray for peace for all of us.

Secondly,  I spoke with Doug's brother, Ray.  Please join me in praying for Ray's 4 month old grandson, Beau.  The baby sustained very serious brain injuries and broken bones through serious trauma.  The doctors suspect that Beau may be blind as a result of his injuries.  I have been praying with Ray on the phone and have told him I would ask others to join in prayer for the healing of Beau's injuries.  Ray and his family are learning to trust in God though this horrible event.  Pray that God would heal little Beau and pray that the family will grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is.

MARCH MADNESS
Basketball dominates in the USA in March but here at WOL Poland we are dominated by an OCCUPANCY PERMIT!  It’s a mad rush to get beds, closets, fire extinguishers and emergency escape signs, soap dispensers, paper towel holders, approved lights, temporary electric hook-up,  and loads and loads of documents needed from the plumber, electrician, fireman and building manager.  We’ve had to make special changes to get our electric hook-up and for a fire truck turn around and extra things for bathrooms and a small kitchen.  It’s added time and unexpected costs and we’d really appreciate your prayers for grace in the eyes of the building commission which we hope to get here by the end of April.  At half-time the coach adjusts the game plan and we’ve had to do that as well.  Our desire was to get a pool in for this summer but we literally do not have the time due to the challenges in getting our permit.   Please pray with us!  Time is of the essence because we need to officially register our camps by the beginning of June.

MINISTRY MADNESS!
Winter Camp 2017 was a wonderful time with 42 people where we saw 3 young people make professions of faith in the Savior.  It was nice to see one girl telling her Mom all about it and her desire to see her Mom saved as well!  There were 13 dedication decisions and the weather was perfect!  NEW YEAR’S EVE was spent with a group of teens and we studied the power of the tongue and were challenged to use it for His glory throughout this entire year!
WINTER ESCAPE IN FEBRUARY was our first ever winter retreat here and we played some interesting games with people chained up deep in the woods.  Tim, Seth, Matthew & Marcin opened up the book of Galatians and clearly explained every aspect of the book.
EVANGELISTIC BEACH PARTIES got started this last week!  A very small church really went to work and invited people out and we had 27 people there all together!  4 were unsaved and a few who had never been in church and we praise the Lord for one young girl who made a profession of faith.  Please pray for the others who heard and may still be thinking about it.

PRAYERS
1. Dan & Katie Vanderkooi: A wonderful, Godly couple who have over 70% of their support and are needed for the summer! They have both served in WOL Europe as interns, have seen the needs in Poland and greatly desire to help as they raise their family.  They are looking for any and every contact to get here and we’d really ask you to pray for God to make it happen!
2.
European Quiz April 1: safe travel & encouragement for all as well as for the teens as they study and prepare that God’s Word will get into their hearts as well as their heads.
3. Immediate need of $25,000 for Occupancy costs
4. Brother Ted with broken neck: Bones have not healed after 6 weeks.  Please pray for God to grow this back together so no operation will be necessary. Also for family struggles and overall health.
5. Attic: $15,000 needed to insulate before next winter.
6. Skype discipleship: It’s going on all the time --- 4 girls groups every week and individual guy meetings
7. Evangelistic Beach Parties: Will be happening almost every weekend all over Poland.  Pray for many unsaved to come out and hear how they need not to build on the sandy land but the Rock of Ages!
8. Summer Camp Scholarships: We have received funds for some but we’d love to do a lot more.  If you could help please let me know. One week per camper costs $100.

This coming Monday will be the 6th annual Celebration Banquet...while it is the ministries largest opportunity for people to come alongside it financially, there is a very important reason why we call it a Celebration Banquet...we want that evening to glorify God and be a celebration of what He has done and continues to do...rescue people from themselves, redeem them, restore them and then release them to tell others of His wondrous deeds.  So our one request is this:  Would you please join with us in prayer this week for the banquet?  Our desire and our prayer is that the entire evening of the banquet will be one in which God receives all of the attention and all of the glory.  The ministry of Seeds of Hope and the evening of the banquet are all His--we are just along for the ride.  If you will be joining us we will see you there.  If you cannot make it this year, please pray for the banquet that evening as well should the Lord put it on your heart.

We are thankful to the Lord for the lives of people who have been part of this by praying, giving and traveling also to come and help out the ministry with this big project.
