Collingswood Campus Pastor

I serve as Campus Pastor at FCC in Collingswood.

My wife and I began attending the Haddonfield Campus of FCC in the summer of 2011. We moved with the rest of the campus to our Collingswood location in 2013.

It was impressed on my heart early on, by the Spirit I believe, that this location on “Camden’s doorstep” would become a central focus of who would be as a people worshipping here – that we are called to this neighborhood. God continues to give us opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus here in West Collingswood.

A defining moment in my life, and my faith, took place in a factory in Northeast Philly. I was 30 years old and wrestling with God, and his grace, and beginning to dare to believe that what God says about me is true. I dropped what I was holding and said out load (to no one but God), “I accept! I accept your acceptance of me!” I walked away from my station and ran outside to catch my breath, and bask in the new reality of what in means to be a child of God – loved and accepted and held.

I have been married to Linda since 1982. We have two grown children, a daughter and a son, who have blessed us with 7 grandchildren, (and if you have grands you know how wonderful that is!).

To keep myself busy, I read, I keep an aquarium, I do woodworking when the time is available, and I love to go backpacking – especially in the Adirondacks. Together, Linda and I enjoy antiquing all over South Jersey and into PA.
