Oh, The Person You'll Become

Pastor Ryan preaches from Luke 12:13–34, and contrasts a self-dependent life with a Christ-dependent life. Self-dependence is described as inward-focused, driven by coveting, fueled by worry, marked by self-reliance, and ultimately uncertain and unsettled, illustrated by the parable of the rich fool. Christ-dependence is outward-focused generosity, being consumed by God’s kingdom, trusting God rather than worrying, receiving rather than retrieving needs, and living satisfied by treasuring Christ. He closes by asking, “If you continue living as you are, who will you become?”.
