Each year we do our best to anticipate the coming of Easter as much as we anticipate the coming of Christmas. But for some reason it seems more difficult to be filled with those anticipatory thoughts. Maybe we can chalk it up to simply being a different date each year (blame the lunar calendar for that one), but that doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. There are many good ways to keep the march toward Easter in the forefront of your thoughts, from lenten practices,  devotions, readings or even writing out the book of John like many of your are doing.

And here’s one more way. You can let your soundtrack be centered on Easter. We’ve built a Spotify playlist that is specific to Easter, and we hope you’ll join with us in letting these songs and words fill the space around you. And we know that everyone’s taste in music is unique feel free to make a copy of the list and make it your own, with the intent on focusing on the anticipatory and celebratory aspects of Easter.

Do you have any favorite Easter albums or artists you listen to? Let us know what they are in the comments!
