There’s something exciting in the works at Fellowship this summer. We’re undertaking a sanctuary and lobby renovation that will prepare the space for ministry over the next 20 years (the worship center was built in 2000). You can watch the videos below to get a sense of what things will be getting changed, and what things wont. But with all this exciting stuff comes some changes for our summer worship services.

Summer Worship Services:

May 28th will be our last Sunday in the sanctuary until the project is done, which is scheduled for September. That means that starting June 4th and until the project completes we will be hosting our Sunday worship services in the gym (where Fellowship KIDS normally meets), with 2 services at our normal times of 9 and 10:30. There will be an additional worship space in the prayer garden just behind the gym with a live video feed, a large sun shade and plenty of fresh air (you’ll need to bring your own chair for the outdoor space). And last, we will have some use of the lobby as an overflow space, though week to week that may change depending on the construction on that side of the building.

Summer Fellowship Kids:

During renovation this summer we will stop classes for grades 3 and above. Those children and students may attend worship service with their families.

We will offer classes for Nursery, age 3 through 2nd grade at 9:00 am and our Children’s Church for ages 3 – 1st grade at 10:30 am. Since some of our classes have moved rooms for the summer, please see the greeters in the Welcome area and check the map for your child’s classroom.

Thanks for your patience and flexibility as we use our space creatively this summer!

The videos below just give some quick overviews of the changes that are taking place over the summer, as well as how these changes fit into the overall mission of Fellowship. If you’re interested in reading more about the “why’s” of this project, read this article from Pastor Mark.
